FAQ
How to use it
Every night, apply one dose of Probiotic vial.
To activate the bacteria, break the seal by twisting the cap clockwise and shake for 20 seconds. Open and apply it on your face.
Dermatologists recommend using sunscreen every day. Other than that, we recommend not using any other products. Conventional skincare products could inhibit the acne-treating power of the Living Skin Probiotics Technology.
So if possible, avoid harsh toners, acids, or exfoliators. Good to know: our Living Skin Probiotics serum has a moisturizing effect built into the formula. If necessary, you can add a light moisturizer 1 to 15 minutes after applying the serum.
That depends on the product.
Cleanser. Use up to twice a day (morning and evening, before application of the serums.)
Towels. After cleansing, make sure you use the Soft Towel to gently pat your skin dry.
Living Skin Probiotics. Apply one serum vial before bedtime after cleansing. Be sure you pat your skin dry with the Sencyr Soft Towel before applying the facial serum.
Day Serum. Apply up to twice daily after cleansing. Be sure you pat your skin dry with the Sencyr Soft Towel before applying the facial serum.
Refrigeration of products is not required. The product is stable at room temperature. Avoid placing it next to very warm and humid places. (Eg: near heaters)
Never stop a treatment given by a dermatologist. But indeed, we advise to not use antibiotics and Sencyr at the same time. So the best is to finish completely all the treatments given by your dermatologist, and once antibiotics are finished, you can start with Sencyr.
Of course! Pay special attention and apply the treatment (cleanser, towel, serum) evenly on your back and neckline area.
You can, though we’d advise you to avoid oil-based and comedogenic (pore-clogging) make-up.
Choose powder-like textures over heavy compact foundations or emulsions that might clog up your skin surface. What helps is to cleanse your face thoroughly morning and evening with the Soothing foam cleanser before applying the Living Skin Probiotics at bedtime.
We can help you work out the best mix of products, so you’ll feel good, and look it too.
The ingredients
The separate compartments make sure that the power of 1.5+ billion bacteria keep all their potency—no preservatives needed. The separate compartment protects the Living Skin Probiotics right until the moment you use them. As soon as you release them into the serum, the Probiotics are
activated and right at their peak performance. Thanks to this bi-phase system, we can work with live bacteria without compromising on quality or results.
The cleanser and serum are akin to your skin's protective ecosystem. To achieve this, we have carefully curated all the ingredients in the formula paying special attention to their scientifically proven safety and efficacy. Moreover, by separating the Living Skin Probiotics from the delivery serum, the bacteria don’t require any preservatives.
We comply with strict safety and quality guidelines to ensure that our products pass all safety tests. However, no skincare formula can guarantee 100% compatibility with all skin types. While the nature of our technology and formulation techniques should minimize the risk of unwanted skin reactions, please reach out to our team if you experience any of these reactions.

The vials contain two parts— the Living Skin Probiotics powder, which sits in the cap until activation, and the serum.
Living Skin Probiotics
Live Cutibacterium (CA-31 ® & CA-81 ®) is the world's first Living Skin Probiotics cocktail that has been dermatologically and clinically tested and validated to relieve blemished skin. It contains two carefully selected natural probiotic strains of Cutibacterium acnes, which is naturally found in healthy skin. These help to reduce acne and redness while also boosting skin radiance. The serum was carefully formulated with the following key ingredients:
Niacinamide, a Vitamin B3 amide (=niacin), is a skin-innate vitamin with anti-inflammatory, sebum-regulating, and anti-redness properties. It is also recognised for having brightening properties depending on the concentration.
Squalane is the 'stable' form of squalene, which is found naturally in skin sebum and possesses antioxidant, detoxifying, moisturising, and emollient properties.
Ectoin is a natural molecule with a long-term beneficial effect on skin dryness. It also relieves irritation caused by irritated or inflamed skin.
Panthenol is a B5 provitamin and humectant that
moisturises the skin by attracting water.
Tocopherol, or vitamin E, is a well-known antioxidant.

Results
Yes we have a money-back guarantee on the Probiotic Boost and The Reset. It means that you have 30 days to test the products, and if you are not satisfied, you can contact us by e-mail. First, we’ll try to find a solution together. If we can’t, we’ll give you a refund.
But we recommend you to finish first your 30-day course and then go with The Balance. Your skin needs at least 2 months to see long-term results. Integrate a new skincare routine is not easy for your skin and that's normal if you see more pimples or no big improvements at the beginning.
Once Sencyr RESET has optimized your microbiome’s condition, it's important to keep the momentum going. Your skin may benefit from regular and periodic support to keep its microbiome healthy and balanced.
Sencyr BALANCE consists of:
1x Soothing facial cleanser — Apply once or twice daily.
1x Day Serum — Apply after using the Sencyr soothing facial cleanser. Re-apply as required, up to twice a day.
10x Living Skin Probiotics facial serum — Apply at bedtime (twice weekly), without the day serum. Make sure you cleanse and pat your skin dry with a Sencyr Soft Towel before applying the Living Skin Probiotics Facial Serum.
For a happy, healthy skin, we recommend you follow this maintenance regime until your skin feels clear and repaired. Talk to our mentors for your individualized approach.
Several factors influence break-outs. They can be caused by a genetic predisposition, hormonal activity, your lifestyle (e.g., smoking, nutrition, sleep, stress, medications, sun), related to your skin microbiome health or your skincare routine.
Reactive skin tends to break out when there is a change in routine. Some users can experience a slight increase in break-outs during the first two weeks of using Sencyr RESET. However, these generally fade away after day 15 and clear up significantly by the end of the month.
Over 60% of our users see clear improvements in their skin after 30 days.
While we work with science, even science can’t always predict exact results. That’s because we work with the skin's natural biological mechanisms, which means results can differ from one person to another.
In our studies, users notice their first tangible results in as little as 7 days. By day 30, they experience significant reduction in flare-ups and relapses.
Overall, we designed the skincare regimen to reach its full potential after about 4 weeks.
54% of users indicate seeing improvements after 15 days.
Over 60% of users notice improvements after 30 days.
Remember, just as acne doesn’t develop overnight, turning the situation around requires care, time and attention too. There are no short-cuts to long term skin health. It’s about creating a routine and keeping up a healthy lifestyle.
As long as you continue to care for your skin and skin microbiome. That includes your Sencyr routine, but also a healthy lifestyle, ditto nutrition, safe skincare products and sufficient sleep.

Hormones & Acne
If you have been taking the same oral contraceptive pill for over three months, your results shouldn’t be influenced by it.
However, if you’ve recently switched to another contraceptive—or plan to do so during the Sencyr skincare treatment—any subsequent hormonal changes can influence the results.

Just before your period starts, estrogen and progesterone levels drop. This can trigger your sebaceous glands to secrete more sebum, which can increase the risk of clogged pores, increase skin inflammation and significantly alter your microbiome. Especially then, Sencyr Reset can help mitigate the severity of your outbreaks, even though they might not be eliminated completely.
Science
Also referred to as skin flora, the skin microbiome is home to trillions of microbes—mostly bacteria and fungi. If your skin microbiome is off balance, it can lead to a discrepancy in the population of your skin’s own beneficial bacteria, making your skin vulnerable to both intrinsic and extrinsic stress factors. If you’d like to go for a deep dive in the skin microbiome, Nature offers an in-depth definition and summarises interesting research.
Researchers have studied the skin microbiome for over hundreds of years. Today, we know that alterations in the skin microbiome are closely linked to common skin-associated diseases like acne, psoriasis, and eczema.
Microbiome modulation is a scientific way to reverse or alter a lack of balance (dysbiosis) in your skin-microbiome that causes a skin condition. We do this by offering beneficial skin bacteria to your skin microbiome that already naturally occur in healthy skin.
We deliver Living Skin Probiotics (live skin bacteria) in a specially curated formula for acne-prone skin. When applied regularly, this formula has proven to naturally boost the population of the beneficial Cutibacterium acnes species on your skin and thus reduce acne relapses.
In simple words, we can now modulate a diseased skin microbiome to help bring it back to a healthy state. Thanks to long years of research, the team at Sencyr is now gearing up to bring to your doorstep a sincere, sustainable, long-lasting skincare routine, helping millions suffering from acne around the world.
Living (active or dormant) beneficial microorganisms that are beneficial to its host, in our case, your skin. In other words: live microbes that are good for your health.
Scientifically speaking, prebiotics are substrates selectively utilized by host microorganisms to benefit their—and thus your—health. This can either be substrates that feed the beneficial microorganism, and/or substrates that are metabolized by the microorganism into a beneficial metabolite. In English, it means these prebiotics are “food” for the microorganisms living in and on your body.
There is an open debate on what postbiotics are, exactly. They can be either a complex mixture of inactive microorganisms, but also the components resulting from these organism’s fermentation. What’s sure is that postbiotics have a beneficial effect on your skin health.
Microbiota are all the microorganisms that can be found in and on our human body, animals and even plants. All of them are distinct and unique. There are many promising technologies arising from extensive research into the topic. While we’ve currently applied it to acne, this technology also has the potential to relieve other skin conditions, such as eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.
